DJ SOUTHPAW
DJ Southpaw is a Boxing & Nutrition Coach and DJ based in Los Angeles, CA. He wanted to incorporate the DJ and Boxing sides of his life together in the logo design, as well as the color scheme and crown logo from the gym out of which he works (Crowned Boxing). The boxing glove was also detailed to resemble the gloves sold at Crowned Boxing as well. After a couple weeks of iterations, these are the final designs we were happy with. I included a t-shirt demo to help sell how they might look in a real world example.

Dynamic Body Mechanic is a Sports Massage Therapist in Los Angeles, CA. She has a wide range of clients – from the very active to the very injured – and wanted something that could appeal across that spectrum. The wrench and dumbbells symbolically fit those dual aspects of her business rather well, while the relaxing beach background (a recurring theme in her brand's online presence) speaks to the rejuvenation and relaxing nature of her practice.

Mars Motor Speedway is a side project of mine on Instagram (@marsmotorspeedway) and Teepublic, it depicts a retro fictional dystopian motorsports arena full of daring events and heavy rivalries, all told from the point of view of the arena's social media account and merch desk (presented as though it were a real place).

Pupcuterie is a friend's small business in Georgia, where they make special occasion snacks and treats for dogs. I drew several dog images by hand, scanning and editing in Photoshop, and workshopped through several "Funky" style typefaces 'til we reached this one that we felt matched the fun vibe of the client and company.

Churro Pictures was a brand concept for a film & TV production company based out of San Francisco, CA. The client was workshopping several company names simultaneously at the time, and these were among my favorites.
